Why is this chicken egg so small.

Idk why this egg so small this is her second one but help tell me what I can do to fix this.

If you crack it open you probably will find it has no yolk... They are called Fart Eggs... LOL not making this up. When a hen first starts laying eggs their "production line" is getting in sync... and sometimes it misses the whole yolk step. No worries her body will sort it out.

Older hens can also produce yolk less eggs occasionalliy sometims with them stress can mess up the process... again no worries.

Pullet eggs are usually smaller(~35g), can take weeks or months for them to reach 'large'(57g) size. Nothing you can do to 'fix' it.

FYI.....semantics, maybe, but can be important communication terms when discussing chicken behavior.
Female chickens are called pullets until one year of age, then they are called hens.
Male chickens are called cockerels until one year of age, then they are called cocks(or cockbirds or roosters).
Age in weeks or months is always a good thing to note.
