I have 14 pekin eggs in the bator on day 8 today. Today they smelled a little...different. not bad but just idk. different i guess. but it was also the first day that i sniffed them just to see if i had any bad ones. i candled yesterday and saw no veining. and now i'm wondering if i should or should not be cooling and misting. ahhh!! i want my babies to hatch!!!

does anyone think the eggs are most likely gone? it doesn't smell like something is rotting and they all smell the same, but its just a different smell and its really worrying me.

I wish I knew. But I know the idea of stress!!! I think I have 3 that stopped developing, but not sure, and now I play the waiting game

i just want to know if they stop developing, how long does it take for them to smell bad? i heard you could put a grocery store egg so you could know the smell. so how many days would that take?
