Why my chick not eating

I have 8 chicks 1 of it is not eating or drinking i have to force him to drink some water contaning vitamins i also have started very small amount of dexocycline please suggest if it is ok or i should start something else

How do you know he isn't eating? Does he have any other symptoms? What is you setup, what heat are you using and wha temp? Do you have a hot and a cool side of the brooder for them to escape to if they get to hot? @MGG @thepick4uchicks @Overo Mare

Yes there is plenty of space for them to roam around please suggest what should i give him

Start with putting some Save-A-Chick electrolytes in his water, and softening his food to a mash to make it easier to eat. @MGG @thepick4uchicks Any ideas?

I think all the ideas that Weeg gave you are excellent. You might try some boiled egg if he is definitely not eating the starter feed. If he is not you need to be sure that he has enough energy to eat. Can he walk and stand and all that well enough to get around and find his food and water? Are his eyes open? Can he see? You need to be sure of those things first. Try putting his food on a puppy pad or paper towel so that he can hear it and see and smell it first opposed to using a feeder right now in order to get him started. Maybe this will help entice him to eat. If not you are going to have to mix some type of sugary mixture and give it to him to get his blood sugar up to get his energy up enough to eat. Either Karo syrup or honey or molasses or peanut butter mash with a little of his food mixed in to get it in his beak. But liquidity. This will give him sugars, calories, protein, fats, and most of all energy. Then he will be able to get around and find his food and water sources. Try all these things and see if he improves. If he is not getting all these he also cannot maintain his body temp. Where do you live? Is he inside or outside. You have to keep this chick indoors if he is not eating and drinking. Flat out until he can hold his own. Body heat is a must and he must have his food and water source. How long has he not been eating and drinking?

He is better now but some times he jus down is head i was thinking about vit e defeciency .Can you tell me what are the symptoms and how much can I supplement vit e?
