Why my rooster died?

So I wake up this morning to a dead rooster, why??. Yesterday he was fine in the morning the in the afternoon he wouldn't stand up so I took him away from the flock and he started to do better so I put him back with the flock for the night and he was okay. When I went to open the doors this morning he was cold dead. Why? What could cause this? I want to correct the problem whatever it may be but I'm completely lost at the moment. Thanks for any help

Sorry to hear about your rooster. Unfortunately, there is no way to know the cause of death without a necrospy/testing. If you still have his body, then you can send him to your state lab.
