Oh my goodness, I feel your pain!! I have 14 hens. 10 of them are 25 weeks old. The other 4 are bantams and one is 19 weeks, the other 3 are 23 weeks. I have had no eggs. None. Nada. I look everyday, several times a day.
We move our pen weekly so that they can be on fresh grass with fresh bugs. We cannot let them free range because of the hawks that live on our lake. We do let them out for a bit each evening while we stand guard. I am wondering if maybe moving the pen like we do has them upset? I have noticed that they are molting. Today we had a ton of feathers. Everyone looks great though.
They are eating layer crumbles. My husband will give them some scratch as a treat.
