Why so slow?

I was getting very discouraged about the new BYC. I don't have a great understanding about computers. But I did download the Google Crome and it has made a world of difference. So for now, I'm hopeful.

I use FF and many functions are faster for me than the old BYC, particularly posting a reply. Scrolling is smooth and when there is a delay it is not longer than about 2 seconds. I'm not going to bother to download Chrome and learn another browser at these speeds, although most report that Chrome is faster than FF.

How come this new forum is so slow? I takes a while to load... and when you try to scroll down, it's sticky.

I'm using google chrome.
