Why still no eggs

I got a black australorp point of lay hen about a month ago maybe and now the hens comb is dark red large and her feathers are looking fully grown however when i look threw some of her feathers are still small on her pins
She doesnt squat(im not sure because i have a rooster or what)
I would like to know when am i getting my first egg
The wait is just not ending

Since you're in SA you're in fall right now, so if it's late enough in the season (and forgive me for not knowing how close you are to winter) it's possible she may not start until mid winter or even spring comes around.

When i bought her the guy told me she was 6 months old but that was an estimated age
We are at the begining of winter here so i guess ill just wait and see what happens
Her health and coop ecetra looks 100% fine

If her flight feathers aren't fully in yet then she's not done with that last juvenile molt yet. Once those feathers are in, her body will be able to put the energy into egg production.

Her feathers on her head arent grown fully
And a few on the rest of her body but ill check again on the rest of her body

What do you feed? She sounds younger than originally expected and the winter light cycle also plays a role..

I feed them layers mash feed
It was raining recently for a few days
We had some places flood around our town but my uncles chickens run around the yard and they seem to be laying quite normal

I wouldn't mix cracked corn into layer feed. Cracked corn should be a treat. If its mixed with their food they will just eat that and won't get proper nutrition to grow feathers or lay eggs. They're like little kids-they will eat cookies all day if you give them a choice haha
