why the chicks didn't hatch?

Hi, I did eggtopsys on my last two eggs that didn't hatch.. One wasn't fully formed at 24 days and stank exactly like a rotten egg.... I didn't investigate much.. But the other one seemed fully formed but swimming in too much fluid. Is this related to the humidity? I had average humidity the whole time. Hatched 7 out of 12.. 2 died early, 1 was not fertilised.. Thanks for your input into knowing why the fluid level seems so high on just one egg???

The smelly one sounds as though bacteria got in. The one with the extra fluid was probably an egg with a thicker less porous shell. An egg with a porous shell will let moisture escape faster than an egg with a less porous/ thicker shell. So the egg might not have lost enough moisture during incubation. Nothing we as hatchers can control or fix.
