I was gonna ask if she had a collar I dont think to many people would SSS on an dog that has a collar and clearly is well cared for.

maybe some harware cloth around the bottom of the fence, it usually is for keeping foxes and stuff from fdigging in but in your case if will keep the doggies from digging out. Although I doubt she will ever leave you again after her experience.
