Why won't my roosters crow?

I've raised two roosters since I hatched them. They are around 10 months old. I have never heard them crow (and no practice squaks either!) I thought maybe they need to be "trained" so we got a third rooster from a friend, and he crowed for a few days, then he quit altogether too!

What's going on here?

Wow. I've never heard of this before. I would consider taking them to a psychological doctor

I have a barred rock rooster that crows all the time but my black copper maran has never crowed. He is 24 weeks old. massive comb and waddles. Huge rooster. He honks every once in a while. I think is is odd. Any ideas?
