Kids most likely. Lots of kids drive around shootin anything they can in rural areas. Then they grow out of it. Shame ya lost a bird tho.

I'm wondering if they have a suspect and came looking for that bullet so that they have justifiable cause to get a warrant. Maybe one of the kids buddies has given a statement, or told his parents, etc....they might just have a reason for wanting that bullet....hope you find it.

I guess hopeless humans get joy out of shooting animals. I just don't understand why someone would have "fun" doing this sort of thing. It would only take a low, cruel and evil person to go around doing that. I REALLY hope that whoever did this pays up big time. I wish I could replace you LB hen. I am sooo sorry about this.
