you need to feed quail very high protein
like 28% and you should go to my web site
and get on about pg 19 on poultry
and read Dr Leland Hayes information on quail
this sounds like it starved to death
and simply as it had nothng to teach it how to eat
also sounds like a Vit B & vit E deficiency
probably in adults
and ofcourse if you are not feeding 28% game bird feed they don't do well
Even adults will die if not fed high protein

i had it on a very low dose of vitamin E supplement in it's water and i do know about the high protein food... yet i'm not sure i taught it to eat correctly, any tips on how to? i'd like to know as much as i can
