Hello There Gary,

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! I can at least try to help ya!
I don't know how to trim wings, sorry, but I do know a bit about clipping their nails.

(In the forum articles, you will find helpful articles for clipping wings!)

Do you have the nail clipper or are you just asking about what to use?
If you do have it, you try to clip little by little.

Not too far or it will start to bleed. If you have baby powder, corn starch, flour etc. any dry substitute. Tab it on... But only if the nail is starting to bleed. It shall act like a bandage.

Same remedy goes if you are clipping spurs.

I really hope this helps, I am no expert, but my Dad taught me this and it has worked for me. The corn starch is always a LARGE suggestion on her.

I can try to help more if you would like!
Sorry if I am no help at all, but I hope this really does help.

Sincerely,
The Angry Hen
