Wide eyes. Lethargy

I have two others like this. I will likely be getting them tested for avian flu. Any other reason for eyes like this and just standing. No eating or drinking. They just kinda stand there…. HELP! I’m so panicked it’s avian flu and I’m going to have to surrender my flock

What is your location? How close to you are avian flu cases? Are your chickens exhibiting any other symptoms?

Before you have your chickens tested, which could result in a positive result and extermination of your flock, let's try treating the symptoms you've observed.

To treat eye infections, flush the eyes with saline eye wash, and put a triple anitbiotic ointment or terramycin eye antibiotic into the eyes twice a day. This could be a simple bacterial infection (pink eye), and not avian flu.
