Wierd egg...

I have 2 buff orpington hens who are laying. Obviously their eggs are brown but yesterday one of the eggs was white with wierd bumps all over it. Should I be worried about them? Or is this just some fluke thing? The eggs from the day before were perfect and neither are showing signs of being sick. Any info would be appreciated.

Here's a good link for identifying egg defects. Those bumps are just normal calcium deposits and nothing to worry abut.

Thanks for the info. I think it was due to her being out of water for most of the day. I filled the waterer then the next day I went back and it had been dumped. Everyone was pretty thirsty so they must have been out for a while. I have 2 in there now just in case. But the website didn't say if the egg was good or not? Should I toss it?
