Wiil my Rock hatch a Guinea

I have been looking for some Guinea Fowl locally to no success. Was thinking about buying some Guinea fertil eggs and trying to hatch them from a couple of broody Barred Rocks I have. Does anyone think this would work ?
I would get a dozen eggs, should I put all in one nest or spilt them up ?

As long as you have broody hens to put them under, they should hatch. When are you getting your eggs? How long have your girls been broody? In the event your girls decided not to set anymore, do you have an incubator for backup?

ETA: I had a banty girl that hatched 14 guinea eggs.

if you've got two good broodies I would split them up. like they say never put all your eggs in one basket.
