Wild Bird Game feed is for who?

My husband bought Wild Bird Game feed for our turkeys that had 32% protein which worked fine. He went back to buy more but accidentally got the wrong kind.

This is more like seeds and only has 10% protein. What birds is it good for? And can I give it to my chickens and turkeys and guineas as a treat?

You could give it to your birds as a treat, but usually it is for wild birds. It is perfectly fine as a treat. Just give your turkeys the feed you bought before.

Yes, no plans on feeding it as a daily feeding since it’s so low in protein. Thankfully we still have some of the right feed left to last us a couple days. Will be going tomorrow to buy some more turkey feed (the right one this time ).

Okay, glad I can give it as a treat since I already opened the bag. Should have read the protein content before opening but I thought my husband had gotten the right kind. Silly me

Definitely looks like something appropriate for a songbird feeder. Your poultry should be fine snacking on it in moderation, like scratch.
