waiting for ducks to start laying

One has started laying yesterday 1 egg today also not sure who yet haven't caught her on the nest. At least she made her nest and is laying in their pen they sleep in left 1st egg in nest marked to hopefully keep them laying there.

Wohooo! I've been getting about 10 duck eggs a day. I have 44 ducks. I'm selling 11 of them since I did a cost analysis and they definitely don't earn their keep, lol. But I love them all! It was hard to choose.

Hows it goin over yonder? We finished our call pens and I got my first call eggs last Monday! Im getting eggs from about 1/2 my girls currently. And I got my first goose egg last week! Not sure what kind of goose she is honestly, but I was happy to get an egg! Ive gotten 3 so far. And, and, and....hubby let me get emu eggs for my (early) birthday! (Ive gotten my riser since I first took the picture of the emu eggs. My incubators are off and running! And I got a pair of button quail and yoday she laid an egg in the egg shaped pot in her terrarium. Made me chuckle. Ive hatched 4 babies so far. They're so small! Here's some photos of our past few weeks. Fill me in on all of your projects =)

And, and, and....hubby let me get emu eggs for my (early) birthday!

I'm jealous nobody ever gave me Emu eggs for my birthday happy (early) birthday to you. Looks like spring has already sprung there love all the baby's, sounds like you have been busy. Seems poochie and your cat are jealous also of all the attention your other critters are getting. The quail in incubator hatched last week and still only 1 duck laying here but the quail have really picked up laying. I may hatch another batch of quail while waiting for more ducks to start laying. Started cleaning/disinfecting out the dog houses I use for turkey's nest boxes they should start laying next month. All the turkey breeding groups are all settled in their breeding pens and doing well. Having a warm spell here all snow melted, and things are thawing so starting to get a little muddy with rain on the way. Might have to spread some straw in breeding pens to keep things from getting too muddy. Looking forward to rest of ducks and turkeys starting to lay. Also love those clear Blue skies you have that I see in your pics. A pic of half the quail hatch other half in outside separate brooder, had to keep some inside to spoil

I have Sweetgrass, Red Sweetgrass. Fall Fire, Red Palms, Blue Palms, Lavender Palms, Royal Palms, Red Penciled Palms, Blue Penciled Palms, Tri Colored Penciled Palms, Bronze, Red Bronze, Black Winged Bronze, But not breeding all those varieties every year going to be working on Penciled Fall Fire this spring.

Heya! Long time no chat- will you happen to sell any hatching eggs from your turkeys this spring? I have a friend searching for fall fires and I'd love some blue Palms <3
