Wild crow putting head all the way back???

I went out to the coop and saw a crow up on the wire. It kept putting its head all the way back and than brought it back to normal, it did this a couple times and than I looked away and it was gone.

wow. that is odd. He might just be trying to impress the ladies... but that seems weird to do...

Rearranging crop contents? Could have just eaten a large insect or lizard or something.

I don't know why it would do that. It's rare that I see crows here. Maybe once every three or four months I'll see a murder come through.

Did you check under the wire to make sure he didn't fall?
