i found an egg on the side of our dam and decided (because we have domestic ducks and drakes on it) to incubate it and see what happens. During incubation i realised that not just our ducks hang around there, but also some Australian wood ducks. So there is a chance it could be their egg.
Today is day 29 and he is in the middle of hatching.
I have all the food and everything for domestic ducklings. If he turns out to be wild will he still eat the same things as a domestic duckling would. Could the wild ducks have crossed with my domestic ducks as well? Is there any differences? Will he just become a pet if I raise him?
Thanks
