Wild Geese

Okay, that is kinda what I thought. Like Mallard ducks and stuff. Just had to clarify! Do you have a TSC near you? Usually they have a very wide selection of poultry in the spring. I don't know if they have any specific goslings, but I don't know for sure, you will have to check there website. I don't know much about geese or there breeds, but try and see fi you ache any local farms selling goslings.
Usually, TSC doesn't have very high quality babies, but yes I do have one near me. I have plenty of ducks currently, and am not looking to get any 'wild' ducks and am more interested in some 'incubator' muscovies vs some mallard for an out of the ordinary duck. My ducks are free rangers whose eggs and babies I sell so I like having regular domestic breeds for them

Haha, I do sell my birds locally and I prefer it but Im never closed off to the option of getting babies shipped
I got babies shipped, most of them were fine, but not all of them made it. I didn't have very many deaths though. I still wouldn't ship ducklings again, its not worth it to me. I am pretty sure I used Metzer farms, but still look into local first, for the goslings sake. I don't know if Metzer farms has goslings, but they did a pretty good job shipping my ducklings.

So your interested in hatching eggs? I know a lot of hatcheries have a wide selection of hatching eggs, and I agree, TSC isn't always quality, same with there sexing. I know that Ebay has good selection, and Etsy too.

I am looking into local first, which is why I posted here asking for info, but with exotic birds that's not always such an easy option. I also shipped from Metzer but they are located in CA so it's a short shipment, I received birds that placed high when showed at a very large show (not 4-H)

I've never incubated shipped eggs but Im open to it! I wouldnt spend too much on em though since its a lot less guarentee on survival or even just fertility. LF literally whatever I can find. Eggs, goslings, adults, juvies.

I agree with the hatching eggs. Look on your local Craigslist to, and see what they got. I have the same idea, I want to get exotic breeds of chickens to hatch next spring, but it is hard to find that stuff locally some times. I am sure others will know more about hatcheries that supply geese if you decided to get eggs/goslings shipped. I don't have to much info, having never raised or needed to buy geese.

@The Phantom has a few species of migratory geese. She is in Wisconsin though. She knows a lot of people who breed migratory waterfowl so might know someone more local to you. Most people won't sell goslings and trying to find someone who will ship goslings is going to be very hard. It's easiest to find adult pairs and most people will ship those.
