I just thought I would share this facebook link https://www.facebook.com/WildInNorthDakota They are going to be thinning the wild horse population in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park here in ND and these folks have some incredible photos of some of the horses that might be coming out for auction. The sad part is that these herds are managed by the park, not by BLM so when they go to auction there aren't the restrictions on slaughter that the BLM has. Please share so that these horses might have a better chance of finding great forever homes!

No restrictions on slaughter? People are really messed up. My horse, Bandit, was a wild horse once. He got shot by a reckless wrangler and left to die. I also wonder if people who adopt these horses know what they're getting in to. I sure hope they do. Bandit was making me crazy trying to train.
