That's perfect.
I do like to keep it at 60% them up to 70% at the end.
Great thread. I am getting ready to start a migratory waterfowl general info thread myself, just need the time to sit down, will probably fill up 2 pages just on my opening post!! LOL

Been a lot of activity on here from migratorys this year which I think is great and love to see, more people need to get involved with them, as much as people on here like ol back yard domestics and mutt ducks, we need to get them to the truly BEAUTIFUL ones, which are these, the worst migratory/ornamental duck will put a ol muscovy to shame,, Just my opinion, course I'm a touch bias on that subjetc too

We need a whole topic for wild/ornamental waterfowl. I love em and I need to learn a lot more about them to be successful, but they are really beautiful and different than your regular backyard meat ducks or pets! Would love to see a new topic section opened up just for us wild lovers! ;-)

I agree... seems to be a lot more wild waterfowl enthusiasts on here these days. I think we need our own forum to be honest. Actually, I've been working on a site for mandarin breeders. It's under construction right now and not yet "open to the public", but will be located at mandarinbreeders.com. If anyone is interested in a general wild waterfowl forum and wants to help moderate it, I can get one going with its own site if we have enough interest to do so.

It's kinda funny as I mainly visit Backyard"Chickens" these days to keep up with.... ducks and duck people.

My second wood duck hatched out of the two eggs that were left! But....IT'S A SILVER!!!! I'm so excited! The odds of getting a silver out of my pair was 25% and with two birds hatching I thought I would just get regulars.....

I had full intentions of getting one going, but my darn computer crashed 3 weeks ago and have been in the dark since. Just bought a new one this weekend, will get to work on a new thread for just migratory/ornamental waterfowl.
Hope yall dont mind me getting a little long winded, when It comes to them I can talk forever on the subject. There is another forum for waterfowl and pheasants, but have to say, the people on there a pure jerks, so I plan to stay right here with it, they'd rarther insult you than help you, BYC is a much nicer place to be.
Turkey season is over here now, so I'll try to get one started soon

Aubrey

PS glad to see the increased excitement about them too!!!
