Only if he bites you... :D Yes, it's a water moccasin/cottonmouth.

I've killed 5 in my backyard. I literally almost stepped on these 2....

I didn't know those 2 names are the same species!
Only venomous snake here is Pacific Rattlesnake. This poor guy got caught up in plastic fencing around the garden. Didn't find him until it was too late. Pretty creatures.

That is a pretty snake. We have eastern diamondbacks, timber rattlers, water moccasins, and copperheads here in South AL. I think we have a few pigmy rattlesnakes too but I've never seen one...

@mdees88 what about a proper quality automatic teleconverter? Cannot find an automatic 500mm nor 600mm lens anywhere under sort of £800.
I wouldn't recommend a teleconverter. I have a very good one and almost never use it. They slightly reduce image quality and you lose a stop of light. You really only want to use them on very high quality lenses that are already super sharp. I know it's a lot of money, but I really can't think of a better budget 500-600mm lens option than a used Sigma 150-600.

I don't believe there is a Sigma 150-600mm for Pentax K-mount unfortunately but appreciate your notes about the teleconverters, always seen such mixed reviews

I think I would have to get the 50-500mm sigma bigma.. just good luck finding it lol
