Same aperture and shutter speed, auto settings applied in LRC to try put them as roughly the same exposure.
I don't think that's how you want to do it. If the shutter speed and aperture were the same, then one of those images was under or overexposed. If the ISO 1600 image was underexposed, raising the exposure in lightroom is the same thing as shooting at ISO 6400 in camera.

Try the test again but put the camera in aperture priority and set the ISO manually. Use the same aperture for both images but set the ISO to 1600 for one and 6400 for the other. The camera will automatically use a faster shutter speed on the 6400 ISO one to expose it properly. The images should have the same exposure and look identical in camera except for the extra noise in the ISO 6400 image.

Anybody know what this bug is? I found it squeaking on my shoulder, and I tried looking it up, but I can’t seem to find it. Maybe a clicking bug?

The shape kind of looks like a stink bug but I've never seen one with stripe like that...

I'll give it a go tonight, thank you

OKay hopefully I did better this time, tried to neatly arrange them but BYC has put the images backwards in order lol. Names are: "f8,3200s,6001" "Aperature (F8), Shutter Speed (1/3200s), ISO (6001)."

Unedited images.

Yesterday I got a quick picture of a Western Tanager, way up in the top of a spruce tree at my place.

The original pic...

and the cropped image. It's not a clear picture, but it was cool seeing such a colorful bird!

Here's what they look like up close. Image is from
