Just sharing snapshots I took through my window just now. I only have a phone for pics. I just love watching these hummingbirds every day, all day! So fascinating!

Took the boat out last night to do some floundering. I got to the launch a little before sunset, so I decided to bring the camera and grab a few pics before dark. Watched a great blue heron catch a stingray from far away. Once I got close enough for pictures he took off, unfortunately not in my direction. I was able to grab a couple pics of him flying by though.
The quail hanging out on the roof rack of the bug again this morning. Cell shot.

I'm so glad I got these shots of the hummingbirds when I did - they're all gone now! Bummer. I know *now* they start migration in August and September, and males go earlier - in July, even. I only see a few stragglers now - travelers passing through, probably - and one today is the first male I've seen in several weeks.

Zoom lens, I suppose? LOL I can't get within 100 yards of our wild turkeys. I open the window or back door, and they hustle away into the woods!

Beautiful pictures, @BarnyardChaos ! I absolutely love hummingbirds and I’m sure that @Blooie would love if you posted those pics on her Hummingbird Haven thread too!
