Such interesting looking fellas, really want to see one in person to fully get their full scale!This rather mundane photo of pelicans is only interesting because it was taken in the middle of the Sonoran desert. The closest place you'd normally expect to see them is 212 miles away, in Rocky Point.

That is what I believe it is! Definitely one of, if not, the most common bird of his size around here, even beats out gulls in our area.Would that be-- a Carrion Crow, right?
I really like the soft natural lighting in this and the bokeh.
