Spotted Towhee in the snow. I think there was a snowflake on my lens, and that's why he has a spot on his side.

Here are some recent pictures. I haven’t been out much either lately but the sun was shining today. The only birds I’ve been able to get close enough to are the ones going to the feeders(and the sun is only on them in the afternoon) so there isn’t much variety.

My favorite bird, the Chickadee.

We have Carolina chickadees here in NC. They're a little smaller than their northern cousins the Black Capped chickadees, and they tend to slur their call/drawl!

Seems like someone wasn't wearing their glasses when they named that bird. Did they not notice that the belly isn't red but the head is?

They do have a red belly, but it's more of a blush, way down by the legs.
