[Starlings and dogs]

Got these like a month ago but finally got around to putting one out lol

I figured they'd like the molasses one.

do you hunt?

saw a baby rabbit today, almost step on it, it was trying to hide in the grass. pretty awesome, this is the second rabbit (baby) that i have seen this year, the first was killed by my cat...

saw some more wildlife today, i think i saw 2 whitetail deer, saw quite a few hawks, many song birds, some ground squirrels and new badger holes (ya. no not really)

Awesome! I refilled all the bird feeders and put some on each stump in the back and threw a ton down on the hill/near the woods in the front so there's plenty of food for everyone. funny, now that there's some on every stump as opposed to just one or two the squirrels and chipmunks don't fight. But then again there were obly 3 squirrels and 2 chipmunks. I filled them late. We'll see if the animals discover it tomorrow.

Saw a hawk too in a tree but i was outside so it flew off. I think it wanted a free squirrel buffet lol though it was facing the other way

In the interest of not derailing my birding thread for those who only want to hear about birds, I'm making a separate wildlife thread!

We can still talk about birds but I just feel bad for talking so much about other wildlife in the other one haha

Anyways, I got 2 salt/mineral blocks for the deer today! One's like beet flavored and one molasses. Gonna put them out tomorrow. And I put out some BOSS the other day. Hopefully the deer start coming around

Of course I'm never up early anyway so they could already be around and I wouldn't know it....

Which is another reason I want to get a game camera

Anyway, who else likes watching the wildlife? And what sorts of wildlife do you have around?

We've got a couple of black bears, and a ton of squirrels! Oh and bald eagles, they are so pretty!
