will 6 month old ducks sit on their eggs?

I only have three ducks and they have always stayed in the garage in a large dog kennel at night and roam free during the day. I love it because they come in at night on their own and I just shut the garage door, then in the morning open it and their kennel without ever having to go out in the weather. The only time I ever have a problem is on warm summer nights they like to stay in the kiddie pool.
