I've found that to be the easiest solution with most of mine. I've left them, and just remove eggs, I've also moved them... early... late... I've moved broodies and chicks with some hatched, some not, and pips in eggs! I think the worst is moving them too early and they aren't yet committed enough to stay. (that is, if you want them to brood)
