I am considering getting a young saipan or malay type rooster to lead or protect my flock of regular hens (barred rock, orphington, wyandotte). My question is will this type of fowl be a "rooster" to those hens or is too different of a breed to intermix with the flock? My second question is that I have several guineas also which get along with the chickns fine, will this be an issue with the new rooster if it is raised in the flock or will it co-exist just like the other chickens?
Thanks

in breeding seson a malay rooster may kill the male guinie's but are fine with hens.
unless it is a hatchery birds which really cant be called malays, as they are terrorbly undersized, and scared of everything.

and as warning a 3 year old malay cock can reach 36' tall and 14 pounds
