I've always had fun with mixed birds. Your start has some interesting attributes to make the game of guess what I'm gonna look like alot more fun.
Or the who's my parents game.

Just imagine tossing a couple different egg color genes in, feathered feet, a silkie and what could the outcomes be?

Pretty birds. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure everyone will like to see them as they develop.

Thanks so much. I love that people are interested to see how they turn out. I love that people love chickens asmuch as me😆

We have had an electric transformer blow up 4 days ago and we have no idea when it will be repaired.. so I must apologise now for my erratic responses at the moment. It was around 6 this morning when my phone died. Its now 6 pm and I've managed to charge up some things for the night... Its time to tuck the chooks up for the night too. Hope things are well your side

A little bit of no power sure puts things into perspective of how lucky and easy we have it.
I work swing shift so my responses are always erratic. Lol

I'm sure the linemen will be doing everything they can to get you back online. Long hrs. Middle of the night. Cold rain. Doesnt matter they will be out there. How do I know? Thats the line of work I do.

Take care & looking forward to seeing more pics

This is Africa,... where the big managers get 7 figure salaries and fancy cars..and the linemen get paid peanuts and don't have tools, equipment and parts to works with. They'll be lucky if there's a working vehicle and fuel in it. The old tools they do have, are down by 3pm, which is our current working hours under lockdown. They have to get home before 6pm which is curfew... many travel from far and have to take several forms of transport to get there.

Our neighbourhood has banded together to get tree fellers in to cut back all the trees that are sparking the lines this morning. Fingers crossed our power gets restored. This is the result of a collapsed government... it's nothing new to us Zimbabweans. I do have a little generator but I can't get it started, and need to call in a mechanic.. the chooks couldn't care less haha

I've been chatting to a show winning breeder about sulmtalers and I've since learned that their crests only develop around 4 weeks onwards. I shall provide a few pics of one of her 3 week old pure breed crested sulmtaler chicks. Mine still don't have any cresting yet but I'm still expecting them to lol. I thought some people may be interested.

This is a 3 week old pure sulmtaler.. (not my pics or chick)
