Will any hatch

i got eggs mailed to me and due to circumstances beyond my control they did not get into the incubator within 10 days because of shipping. It was more like 16 days. Will any of them hatch? I put them in and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I doubt they will, but give it maybe five to seven days and you should be able to tell if any veins have formed via candling.

The best answer I have for you is to just wait 7 days and candle them. I have heard so many mixed reports about shipped eggs.... I wish you luck!
Report back after candling. I am anxious to hear if any of the eggs are viable.

Nothing like trying ... Did check air cells prior? When you got them I'm assuming it was 16days, did you put them straight into the incubator? Are they on their side or pointy side down?

I had them in a Lyon 6 and then moved them to my Rcom as soon as the other batched hatched. I’ve candled got rid of the ones without veins. Got 17 left in the incubator. I’ll post results on Tuesday

Good news to report!!! I had 9 baby chicks hatch. 8 Icelandic's and 1 Chanticleer. I'm just glad I got some after spending so long in the post office.

I had around 24 eggs shipped. Candled them at 7 days and had 18 that I thought might have veins, continued with just those 18 and had 9 hatch.
