Hello i have 16 hens and a week ago I got a full grown rooster then today I got a five month old rooster they all get along ok . at first hens didn't like big rooster ganged up on him but now he is going up the pecking order is say about 3 or 4 hens are still incharge no fertile eggs yet be the rooster trying to dominate the hens my question is when the eggs hatch and I do it artificualy or naturally will the others try to attack or kill the young ones

:welcome!

Well you can't just put newborn chicks in with the flock. A hen can incubate them and hatch them out and they'll probably be okay in the flock with their mother to protect them, but if you hatch any eggs yourself you're going to need to raise the chicks up to an age that they can be safely integrated before you can put them in your flock.

Chickens can and often will kill/cannibalize young chicks/new birds added to flock. They do not normally play well with (strange )others. You need to integrate new & old, carefully.

Put "integrating new birds to flock." in the search box and see what articles come up.

Newly hatched chicks need to be kept at 95* to 100* for the first week, then lower the temp a little bit every couple of days. By the time they are about 4 to 6 weeks old, they won't need any supplemental heat during the day, but should still be kept at about 70* at night.
