Will chickens eat Goat Feed?

I am looking for a good feed option for my entire hippie homestead! Lol We have chickens galore, 3 Nigerian Dwarf does and 5 ducks. They all bunk together in our little barn and have for months and months now, since we added the goats. They were doelings when we got them and they follow our Roos like they are the buck of the herd. It keeps them safe and everyone is very happy! I am currently exploring options to mix my own “for everyone” mix but we have also had no ill effects whatsoever from feeding a goat pellet/sweet mix/black oil sunflower seed food that we mix up ourselves. The black oil sunflower seeds are amazing for all concerned and they love them. The chickens eating the goat mix helps us waste so much less that the goats drop and the chickens even like it when it gets wet and crumbles apart in the yard at the “treat” stations, which also eliminates so much wasted food. The chickens health have not declined nor has the egg qualities per say. Yes, we loved our days of using Purena Layena Plus feed to the chickens bc we had the best eggs in all of town and the colors in the chickens was absolutely glorious! But as anyone with goats knows, chicken feed is just a no no and asking for trouble. My friend lost her new ND buckling bc he got into the chicken feed bc he was small enough to get in the chicken door of their coop and knocked it down and ate it all. I would just die if that happened to my little girls so that very day my chicken feed got donated to a neighboring farm and everyone gets the goat feed now. I am currently looking for things to add into to mix that is good for all, especially the chickens, but that won’t hurt my goats. ⚠️***SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED ON THAT BTW!! Lol ***⚠️ I love having all my babies together in one place. It has made amazing harmony among the animals we have here on our tiny farm. I have a hen that rides the goats around and my goats protect my chickens and listen to my roosters, my ducks even seem to like being with everyone even though they are a bit more independent and stick together with our drake, our drake also never bothers our hens bc he has 4 ladies of his very own lol. I am with the commenter above, do what makes you happy and what works for you! Feed what works for your homestead! My chickens even get in the goat minerals and all it did was make my egg shells epic quality!
