Will chicks be ok with a ramp?

I’ll look if there space for food and water. Will she need water in there?I’ll see what I can do thanks.
They will usually not need any water as for the last 2-3 days prior to hatching they fall in some kind of trance concentrating on the movements and noise coming from the eggs.
The feed is for the early hatchers, so she will be able to keep them entertained and stay on the eggs that are still to hatch.

That’s cool. that works then. And I’m stilling Finishing her chick area. So I can just put them on the floor.I have two eggs under her. Thank you.

do you think I will be able to hear chirpin.
Usually not or very faintly, as the sounds will be subdued by the broody's body and feathers.

When you go to check on them on Thursday morning, don't forget to announce your arrival by calmly talking to them prior to opening the box. This way she will know that it is you coming and not get nervous trying to protect her chicks from a potential predator approaching.
