Will Coyote Urine Deter Foxes?

In my parts, foxes probe fairly frequently around the perimeter fencing. What appears to be a pattern is the fox probing stops when coyotes shift their rendezvous / location to where they howl to near poultry yard. My dogs can push off the Coyotes relatively easy so they stay away for a good while, but the Red Foxes can be chased pretty hard yet come back the next day.

My dad wants to get coyote urine to put around our garden beds so that the deer won’t eat our hostas. Does anyone know if the coyote urine will deter foxes or worse attract them?

How would you acquire coyote urine? Is there really a Marketplace where they sell that?

If you're only worried about deer here is your answer and you're going to be very happy to hear about it. Go get a bunch of dryer sheets and hanging from trees around your garden and around the area dryer sheets smell like human and deer have evolved to avoid is... it is an old gardening tactic that I've used in the past and if you look on the right places and the right forms people swear by it.

Thanks for the tactic. I’ll be sure to try it out.
