Will donkeys keep predators away like foxes and dogs?

Only an LGD will be more diligent at protection than a donkey. Donkeys are always alert, even when they are sleeping their ears are listening and one out of place sound will have them up and alert. Our donkey has convinced all the predators except raccoons to stay well off our land, she has even gone around most of our perimeter and marked it along with our dogs. One donkey can take on 3-4 coyotes and kill them all.

We had a large dairy sheep farm in the area I used to hunt. They had over 600 head of sheep and several donkeys in the various paddocks. I've seen the donkeys running coyotes out of the paddocks many times. I've even seen a young coyote get stomped to death by a pair of donkeys. They were very effective.
