Will feeding 30% protein game bird starter to silkie chicks make them grow faster?

Will feeding 30% protein game bird starter to silkie chicks make them grow faster? I am asking if this is true because the sales consultant at tractor supply recommended Purina Gamebird Starter feed 30% protein for my silkie chicks. I need to know if this is safe for non game bird chicks, or will this damage their kidneys?

I’m just starting with silkies, as well.
Mine are 13 weeks old.
I feed them Show Flock starter feed. They look nice and healthy and seem to be doing well on it.
Let’s ask @Debbie292d.

What's the protein percentage in your starter feed? Is it 20, 22, or 30%?
