Will fox urine keep chickens out of my yard?

I don't know if they are wild or if someone near me is a bad owner but a rooster and his hens keep coming into my yard and tearing up the mulch. I used to chase them off, but they seemed to have learned when I'm not usually around.

Would spraying fox urine around keep them away? Would it freak my cats out?

If not fox urine, what will keep the chickens away?

I've tried leaving seed piles in the woods several yards beyond my actual yard, but that didn't work. They'd eat the seed but still come into the yard to scratch.

If a few words with the neighbor doesn't help, you should be able to file a nuisance complaint to the city. They are damaging YOUR property.

I don't think chickens can smell urine, but I'll be honest I've never thought much about it.

They might be wild. Once when I chased them away I kept chasing them into the woods and they never broke towards one of the nearby residences, just kept running deeper into the woods.

No.
Have you thought about catching them and cooking them?

These...with extendable handles.
