Either way though the answer is YES (in my experience). All you want to do is make sure that the younger birds are able to walk around and aren't weak. Healthier chicks will pick on weak chicks. SO I always make sure before i Put chicks from the incubator into the brooder that htey are fullyf luffy and fully mobile as long as that is followed the birds get along fine

I toss everything together, doesn't matter age or species. The only problem that I've ever had was with the baby buttons. For the first ten minutes or so, everyone else thinks that baby button toes are tasty snacks. After that, they're all fine together.

I think all baby birds think the newest baby's toes are snacks, at least that's what it seems like here!

I brooded buttons and coturnix together with no problems. They lived together forever until they decided they needed some girls. I had 1 button and 2 A&M, all males. One of the A&M eventually had to be removed for fighting, but the button and other A&M did fine together.
