Will I have Roostercicles in the morning?

Well no chickensicles this morning, but in my worrying about my moronic male moochers,,, I forgot to put the brace on the coop door last night so when I went out to let them out this morning they were already out. I guess I really have to stop worrying about them so much.

They will be fine...my guineas and the peacock roost in a huge old oak tree during the winter......they are always fine..the fox is the biggest enemy to me...he has had 3 of the guineas..arghhhhhh...(but I am going to get him bagged! tally ho...) and when we think about it the wild birds always sleep "rough"...we just molly coddle our chickens....

What kind of chickens do you have??? I only have one that goes into the trees every once in a while and shes an EE... She very flighty and jumpy around people

Mine are some pure bred I don't knows and some good looking mutts lol. The only one we know for sure is Blue Roo who a Blue Andulusian. Penny is a Barred something or other, the Sisters are big adorable pure who knows because I haven't asked. I'm not real worried about breeds I guess, but I'm going to try and have a pen of large egg layers.
