I DID have a fire this morning, yeah, July 5th and the wood stove was belching. I've never fired up the stove in July.

After a solid week of dismal rain and 98% humidity I woke up to mid 40's and used the low temps as an excuse to burn some wood and dry out the house. It has shaped up to be a nice breezy day but the weather forcast looks like solid rain again all next week!

My third soggy summer in New England. Yipee

If i had realized before that global warming was going to actually be cold, windy and rainy, i would have done so much more to prevent it!!!!!!! I just thought our winters in New England might be shorter

Ah 47 would feel great. Today we got up to 87 and that was a cool day. It felt cool compared to all the 100's we have had. When is summer gonna be over???? Not really the garden is going good. I have tomato's turning red finally. Hope you get some warm days soon.
