Will it mess up the hatch if....

I candle my eggs before I put them in lockdown. I just want to know if I take the time to candle before locking them down, will they get too cool or too dry?

I always candle before lockdown. It is my final check for quitters. Just do it over something soft and be super careful not to drop them (here I am passing my fear on to you

I just want to be able to check and see how many ought to hatch. Trust me, the fear is already there--My stomach has been in knots for the past 18 days! I'm hoping that the more I incubate and hatch, the less nervous I'll be! They go into lockdown later tonight so I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks so much!
