Will layers skip a few months if I don't provide lighting in coop?

It will help if you make sure they get 14 or better yet 16 hours of light every day. Otherwise their production will be lower than they are capable of. Good Luck

I never provide supplimental light for my hens, it doesn't allow them to rest up as nature intended, and can lead to "laying burnout" and shorten their egg laying lifespan by years.
