Will my chicken know when her eggs are hatching?

I checked under her and she still has eggs and no chicks. Do you think they could have died?

Are you counting your time from the first egg laid or the last egg laid? The incubation process doesn't usually start until she commits to staying on the nest. Otherwise there would be a chick a day being hatched. Give her time. She will figure out what to do!
