Will my chickens eat squash bugs?

I got tired of going through all the work of planting these beautiful zucchini and summer squash plants to watch them get decimated by squash bugs and really it wasn't practical to move them anywhere or pick off the eggs or the little buggers or change the soil. So sorry guys I broke down and use diatomaceous earth and permethrin powder the first time the vermin showed up this year and that was the end of them. I wash the veggies very carefully and since The squash fruit have shown up. I haven't had any trouble.
Oh, I raise 150 chickens every year and was just checking to see if they'd eat the squash bugs but I don't have them anywhere near my vegetable garden as it is.

Did the DE or permethrin have any negative effect on pollinators?

I don't see very many bees this year. I think my squash and cucumbers are getting pollinated by cucumber beetles.

I spent a lot of time scraping squash bug eggs off my zucchini plants last night. :(
