Will my one duck get along with any new breed?

I have chickens and three ducks but i had to sell one of my ducks because he was male and was upsetting my chickens (ive had him for two years and he was fine until recently ) but then one of my girl ducks died before i had the chance to sell my boy. I think it was just age as she seemed healthy and i didnt know her age when i first got her but unfortunately i now have a lonely duck Will my duck get along with any new duck u put in the coop or should i try to figure out her breed and get her another duck of her breed? thank you

My duck got along just fine with another breed! He is a pekin and I got him a Cayuga friend!

Usually breeds don't tend to matter to the birds, getting another duck would be good for them! However, there's a chance they may fight when they first meet, trying to figure out who is the most dominant. If fighting does occur between the birds. I'd supervise it. If no fighting occurs, then awesome!

Ducks like other Ducks. Sometimes if you add in Muscovy to other types of Ducks they don't understand each other.
