will my turkey hatch eggs?

I was recently given a pair of royal paln turkeys..was offered six but only have room for a pair. A.yways the next day she laid a egg. I have her in a pen with chickens and ducks. Im intrested in having her raise a clutch. When she was out today she found a quail nest and was sitting and guarding it. Should I just collect the eggs for a week then place them back in her nest and hope for the best? Ive only had her for two days now.

I have 1 broody turkey hen out of my bunch and she will set on anything. But she wont raise anything. ??
So I would give it a try and just be ready to take the poults from her.

How much room is the area that you have her in?

Not much at the moment. I wasnt expecting to get them and never had time to prepare. Ive got a spot I plan to set them in hopefully this weekend. Its my old goat pen thats 20 x 15 feet, because its field fencing I can only put the turkeys in there. Im thinking of triming one wing so they cant fly out. But the chickens and ducks would be able to walk right through so its not good for them. My yard isnt fully fenced so I get stray mustangs/dogs/cattle..plus I found out the hard way yesterday when I thought id do a supervised freerange in the yard that my horses will kill any birds that wander in thier corral :/ .
